The Peacetet is the newest musical offering from the Fatum Brothers, which combines the energy and soul of their highly acclaimed Jazz Orchestra, and the intimacy of their trio. The Peacetet features some of New York City’s most exciting young talent whom posses the unique ability to connect with the audience and create humane and relevant music. The band’s interpretations of folk tunes and gospel melodies showcase the band’s reverence, while their contagious sense of groove and swing create music of the moment: relevant to today. The three horn mixes charisma with character, backed by just bass and drums. This group’s goal is to create soul-elevating music, and to share that experience with everyone they meet.

The Fatum Brothers' have performed around the world, including performances as leaders at the Blue Note NYC, Blue Note MIlan, Chicago Jazz Festival, Jazz Showcase, Catalina’s, Nighttown, and Rock N' Bowl in New Orleans. As in demand sideman in New York CIty, John and Michael are featured members with the Jonathan Baptiste band, the Bailen Brothers, EMEFE, and the Rad Trads with whom they has performed at a variety of New York venues, including Webster Hall, Brooklyn Bowl, and Le Poisson Rouge and internationally in China, South Korea, Italy, Spain, & Portugal including most notably at the Seoul Arts Center, Beijing Opera, and the Vitoria Jazz Festival.
